HullTune® by Steller Systems

We are currently seeing lots of interest in using HullTune® to optimise hulls for new-build commercial applications, but have you thought about retrofitting a more efficient bow to your existing ship? Shipping operators are increasingly operating at lower speeds and lower displacements than their hulls were initially designed for, and retrofitting a more efficient bow shape can pay for itself within a short period of time as well as reduce GHG emissions.

Keep an eye out for one of our technical papers on the topic of operational profiles coming out soon.

Get in touch if you would like to discuss how HullTune® by Steller Systems can optimise your new or existing hull design to your unique operational profile.

Combined Naval Event 2024

It’s been three weeks since the Combined Naval Event 2024 and here at Steller Systems Ltd. we’ve been busy following up on all the great meetings held and new contacts made.

The event was a resounding success, highlighted by the unveiling of FEARLESS, our concept to propose an innovative approach to the features of the Multi-Role Support Ship. It was a pleasure to guide attendees through the design, sparking engaging and thought-provoking technical discussions around its key features and CONOPs.

Additionally, we showcased our 19m Offshore Insertion Craft, offering visitors an immersive experience through our VR capabilities and demonstrating recent trials with a scale functioning model.

While our designs garnered most of the attention, our core strength lies in being a naval architecture and marine engineering consultancy. We love to solve complex technical challenges, big and small, leveraging our extensive expertise and creative problem-solving skills. Please get in touch to find out how we can support your project.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to the event organisers Navy Leaders, Maelstrom Event Solutions for our stunning stand, Ogle Models & Prototypes Ltd for the beautiful model of FEARLESS, and End State for the captivating video of our OIC demonstrator in action.

Stay connected as we continue to innovate and push the boundaries of naval engineering!
