Marine Engineering

Steller Systems has in-house marine engineering experience drawn from industry, commercial marine and naval backgrounds. This enables us to provide independent design services and engineering consultation to a wide range of marine projects. Expertise includes electrical and mechanical system design, safety assessment and maintenance. In addition Steller Systems has experience of commercial and naval early stage concept design right through to modification and refit engineering solutions.

• Alongside our extensive Naval Architecture expertise we offer Marine Engineering solutions to vessel designs together with performance and through life analysis.
• We can offer vessel build support, classification society and build yard liaison as well as data collection and analysis to both new build and post refit trials programmes.
• We can develop customer engineering specifications for ship systems including propulsion, auxiliary systems, electrical generation and power distribution.
• We can complete detailed design arrangements and equipment selections to reflect our customers’ needs whilst complying with legal requirements and class society rules.
• We have experience of specifying and delivering modification and upgrade design packages for in service and second-hand vessels.
